Representatives from UK maritime industry service and product suppliers, universities, regulators, infrastructure managers and the Marine‑i initiative joined the AMOG team, to consider and discuss the development of a wave energy converter in the South West. 

AMOG, Thales Australia, and the University of Tasmania, Australian Maritime College yesterday signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) to investigate the establishment of the facility that will make Tasmania the home of a state-of-the-art trials and tests for submarine and surface ship sonar systems.

The Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP, witnessed today’s signing.

At Euronaval 2018, AMOG entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with French company, the ECA Group. Signed in the presence of the Honorable David Johnston from the Australian Export Defence Office, the MoU is a commitment by both parties to work together on a deperming station program.

AMOG's Laurentiu Zamfirescu and Liam Hewitt presented at the IChemE Hazards Australasia 2018 conference, a world class process safety event held this week. Their presentation focussed on building resilience in Western Australia's onshore hazardous facilities by highlighting key challenges and solutions regarding the upcoming land use planning regulatory changes.
